Risks may bode well for gold demand: World Gold Council

The World Gold Council has said that risks may bode well for the commodity's demand,since gold has historically performed well during economic downturns. Geopolitical risks could also drive more people to look towards gold as a safe haven. However, one analyst says this trend may not apply in Singapore.
